I’ve just spent the weekend cleaning all my windows – something I try to do thoroughly once or twice a year – and I have to say, I’ve never used a glass cleaner as effective as the one I make myself. It’s one of my oldest, simplest, and handiest recipes and I’ve shared it with you all a countless number of times, but in the spirit of spring-cleaning, here it is again:

Fill a spray bottle with 2 cups water and 1 cup Wendyl’s Premium double strength white vinegar. Add a few drops of liquid detergent or castile soap and a few drops of lavender oil. Spray windows, wipe with a rag and finish off with scrunched-up newspaper.
