No More Onion Tears

Did you know that if you freeze your onion for 15 minutes before cutting it you’ll have less tears? This is because the chilled onion cells are slower to react with the air and therefore release less enzymes, this method also removes some of the onion odour.

Leave the outside protective layer on the onion and take off once it’s out of the freezer then chop or slice as usual.
