This is a very old fashioned fix for corns that Wendyl found in one of her much loved old books. I have not given this one a go as I don’t have any corns to test it on. As with all of our blogs, these are suggestions only. If you have a serious issue see your doctor.
That said, this method sounds like it’s worth a try – if you have any success we would love to hear about it.
Old Fashioned Corn Cure
Soak some young ivy leaves in Green Goddess Double Strength White Vinegar for a few hours then tie one of the leaves over the corn with a piece of thread. Or you could simply put it beneath a plaster over the corn.
Leaves should be changed at night and in the morning, and in a few days the corn should be able to be lifted.
