The Wendyl’s story
Wendyl Nissen left a 25 year long corporate media career to live a simpler life, focusing on nurturing herself and her family and finding alternatives to the harsh and harmful chemicals found in commercial cleaning products.
While researching traditional formulas for cleaning products, Wendyl found many ways to make life healthier, cheaper and most importantly greener. Together with her son Daniel, Wendyl began manufacturing products under their house to sell online and later in the Grey Lynn store.
In March 2016 Triona and Grant, in line with their desire for a sustainable, chemical free lifestyle that is affordable, whilst being gentle on our wonderful planet, became the owners of Wendyl’s.
In September that same year they moved Wendyl’s production and sales to their home in Auckland, contributing to the reduction of the city’s traffic emissions and congestion.
