Peppermint Toilet Cleaner

3 cups Wendyl’s Premium Soda Ash
1 cup Wendyl’s Premium Oxy Bleach
1 tsp Peppermint Essential Oil

Mix all the ingredients together in your food processor (it’s best to have a food processor dedicated to making cleaning products as it’s hard to get the residue out) then store in an airtight container.

  1. Hi
Just wondering if you are making the products in the same food processor as for meal prep?
Does it leave a soapy taint in the machine?

  2. After using this recipe I thought I would use up my commercial cleaner, alternating. Wow, after one use of the commercial cleaner the aroma of the bleach and chemicals invaded my house.
Safe to say I’ve returned to using this recipe. Thank you for sharing.

Anything you like. Peppermint is nice and strong but both lavender and tea-tree essential oils have great bacteria and virus fighting properties so would be great.

  3. This is so good – and not just for the loo! I also actually used it to clean a bottle that had residue from my home made almond milk – my bottle scrubber was too big to fit into the bottle, so I used some of this cleaner with some hot water, let it sit over night, then next morning rinsed well with hot water – voila sparkling clean!

  4. Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up.
The text in your post seem to be running off the screen in Safari.
I’m not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do with browser compatibility
but I figured I’d post to let you know. The design look great though!
Hope you get the problem resolved soon. Cheers
