DIY Shoe Whitener

There’s nothing like a pair of fresh white sneakers. Keeping them white is another story…

This simple, all natural, two ingredient shoe whitener seems way to good to be true! However, I gave it a try and what do you know, it works amazingly well. Who would have thought?

All you need is Wendyl’s Premium Baking Soda and Wendyl’s Premium Double Strength White Vinegar  a small brush, a large brush and a jar

Mix 1/4 cup of Baking Soda and an equal amount of White Vinegar in a jar or mug with relatively high sides as it bubbles up, mix together to form a paste, then dip your brush in and apply to your shoes, I gently rubbed the mixture in and applied extra to the yellow stains that I couldn’t get rid off. Leave on for 30-40 minutes and brush off with a larger brush dipped in water. Leave to dry stuffed with newspaper to keep the shape, and enjoy your new white shoes!  Triona
